Following on from the success of Longhaul , Bootleg Social's second release is a gorgeous slice of progressive tech house from Tim Cullen, whose recent work has received support from Stonebridge, Ant Brooks, Sonny Wharton and Riley & Durrant to name but a few. We Lost The Moon has an infectious groove and the tight percussion grabs you right from the first beat, whilst a warm sub bass rolls nicely along underneath. As layer upon layer of chunky stabs and synths build alongside a quirky riff (which sits just on the right frequency to really tickle the ears), you can't help but be drawn in and propelled headfirst towards the breakdown. The unexpected, yet wholly beautiful piano chords and lush warm pads create a fantastic contrast to the techy elements of the main track and Tim creates stunning atmospheric soundscape - sending shivers down your spine as the breakdown builds and builds before dropping you relentlessly back into the addictive rhythms and punchy groove.

Gainsford turns in a remix of truly epic house proportions taking We Lost The Moon into peak time territory, demonstrating his passion and talent for production through the huge attention to detail evident in this remix. Whilst keeping a firm nod towards the techy stabs and drive of the original, Gainsford adds a fat bass and creates a truly dancefloor-unifying hands-in-the-air riff with searing pads and powerful synth chords leading to a thundering climax which will see the roof blown off at stadium events across the globe! This remix is destined to become a summer festival anthem where everyone reaches for the lasers!

The Bahar Canca remix takes the track in a totally different direction and is destined straight for the twisted dancefloors of after hours parties. Minimal tech at it's finest: never letting up on the groove, with it's ever so slightly bouncy bass, subtle drops and incessant building synths, expect to hear this cheeky remix all season long at DC10!
