Hailing from South Africa, The Cape Town House Mafia are a formidable DJ duo who have shared the same passion for house music for the best part of a decade. JurgensK and DJ Schalk had already had success in their native country with regular bookings for The Gallery and at exclusive parties for the likes of RayBan and Smirnoff. But it was after being fully immersed into London life and absorbing much of the capital's amazing clubbing scene, that 3 years ago the guys decided to fuse their firm friendship and talent for DJing together, creating the Cape Town House Mafia.

The CTHM have played at some of the capital's most famous clubs including Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Brixton Academy and The Egg, whilst also gracing the decks at one of Scotland's best loved clubs: The Arches, and the world-famous beach club in Ibiza: Bora Bora. A year ago Bootleg Social head honcho Tobie Allen offered the Cape Town House Mafia a residency, which has already given the boys the opportunity to play alongside some of the world's biggest dance acts: such as Groove Armada, Basement Jaxx, Mark Knight, Above and Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Mark Ronson, Annie Mac and Funkagenda to name but a few.

Making the most of every minute they have behind the decks, the CTHM edit, loop, chop, tweak and apply all sorts of technical wizardry to ensure that every performance is unique and captivates the crowd. With their adaptable styles ranging from deep and progressive house to get the crowd going, to solid tech house to get the party in full swing, you can be sure that every CTHM set will always entertain the dancefloor with the freshest sounds and the genuine desire to give the crowd what they want.
